What does it mean to be an educated person? At first, we must defer to the answers of others. Over time, we become curious about our formation. What does all of this schooling add up to? How do all of my influences beyond school fit together? We realize that it is time to take responsibility for our own education, to reflect on what it is admirable to become, to locate resources for self-cultivation, and to integrate them into a life worth living.
