Focuses on the teaching and learning of language arts in the elementary grades. Students will be exposed to theoretical approaches to both oral and written language development in addition to a wide variety of teaching methods. Students will have the opportunity to apply their learning through practical lesson development, and encouraged to reflect on their experiences via the theoretical perspectives highlighted in the course.
