Student affairs professionals in post-secondary institutions contribute to student learning and personal development through a variety of programs and services. This course focuses on the design of campus environments that promote student development and contribute to the academic mission of higher education. Special attention will be given to the history, philosophy, and ethical standards of the student affairs profession, and to the relation of theory to contemporary student affairs practice.
