To provide students with an understanding of the core security principles required to plan and provide a safe and secure environment for fans, event staff, and players. Students will learn the skills necessary to identify a wide variety of risks facing sporting events and sports venues. This includes how to mitigate those risks, develop emergency action plans and critical incident response protocols, and how to respond to a crisis in conjunction with state, local, and federal partners.
