This course provides continued preparation as students become more proficient in the role of the nurse anesthetist. Through mentored learning experiences by certified registered nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists, students become more autonomous in anesthesia practice as case complexity allows. Selected experiences in a variety of clinical settings expand students abilities to provide patient care in tertiary and/or community hospitals.
