This course, the third in a 6-course sequence, provides the nurse anesthesia student with experience in caring for patients requiring complex and specialty surgical procedures. Students gain experience with subspecialties and/or special populations. Didactic content presented during NURS9852, Advanced Practice Principles for Nurse Anesthesia II, is applied to patient care through seminar, simulation and clinical practice.
