This course, the second in a 6-course sequence, provides the nurse anesthesia student with the experience of caring for patients requiring increasingly complex and specialty surgical procedures. The course runs concurrently with NURS9852, Advanced Practice Principles for the Nurse Anesthetist I, such that didactic content presented during that course is applied to patient care through seminar, simulation and clinical practice.
