Databases are everywhere, enabling us to store and retrieve information in an orderly and convenient fashion. In this course, students learn to interact with the most common type of database, the relational database, using the most widely-supported language, SQL. They then learn techniques for organizing real-world information to form an appropriate new database. Finally, they develop programs in Python to interact with these new databases so as to aggregate and analyze information and to represent the results graphically.
