Elective This Elective course prepares students to develop and manage appropriate resources for creating, supporting, and sustaining effective human service organizations. Managers must understand an organizations financials to exercise fiduciary responsibility. In order to meet the mission, agencies also depend on effective and efficient direct care staff, supervisors and managers. If there is no money, there is no mission; and if there is not sufficient and motivated staff to perform their functions, human service organizations cannot be successful.
