This course incorporatesfoundational scientific knowledge and provides a conceptual understanding ofthe basic processes of pathogenesis across the lifespan. The impact ofinterrelated stressors on the development of acute and chronic healthconditions is explicated. Biological variations associated with age and gender, as well as cultural differences, and their impact on health are examined.
