Learners use knowledge to plan individualized anesthesia care for persons undergoing specialty procedures including general, urologic, gynecologic, and other select surgeries. Learners demonstrate the unique requirements for persons of size and advanced age. Learners plan anesthesia care that incorporates patient comfort and safety issues in diverse situations.
